Does your laptop feel like a closed book? Are you worried about clicking the wrong thing or deleting something by accident? Would you like to stay in touch by email without fuss, or see family and friends on a video call?
Over four sessions we guide you step by step through using your Windows laptop – clearly, patiently and in a relaxed atmosphere. From your first document to confident use of the internet and email.
What you will learn
- Basics: handling keyboard, mouse and the most important programs – creating documents and folders and finding them again.
- Internet and communication: searching purposefully, writing and receiving emails, starting video calls with the people you love.
- Security: strong passwords and how to recognise the typical dangers.
What to bring
- Your own charged Windows laptop (not an Apple device) and the power cable.
- Curiosity and 4 × 2 hours of time.
- No prior knowledge required.

- Four sessions instead of one: you can practise in between and bring your questions along.
- All participants receive the course handbook free of charge.
- You work on your own device – what you learn works exactly the same way at home.
